I’m a former middle school teacher and a current Professor of Education, and I’m the mom of two boys, ages 8 and 15. My husband and I are college sweethearts and have been married for 19 years. My family loves nature, being outdoors, our Golden retriever, motocross, and RVing to the national parks.
I have always loved photography and got more serious about it, as many moms do, when my kids were born. I've taken several courses in photography to refine my skillset over the years and truly enjoy working with clients to capture their most precious life moments. My style of photography is very "come as you are" with natural settings, flattering direction, and soft lighting to capture you at your very best. My post-editing focuses on enhancing photos without over-processing to create images that authentically capture the true beauty of you.
I vehemently believe in the power of visual imagery and the importance of documenting the moments that matter, no matter how small! As a photographer, there is no greater thrill than capturing a tack-sharp image that conveys emotion and tells a story, and I thank you for the honor of being able to help you tell yours.
I honor diversity and seek to provide inclusivity for all races, religions, sexual orientations, abilities, and identities. The space in front of my lens is one in which you are welcome to be who you are, to safely love who you want, and to tell the story that your heart seeks to tell.
